Sowenna, the NHS’ new state-of-the-art young persons mental health unit in Bodmin opens this week and Cornish based virtual reality (VR) specialists, Ocean 3D Ltd, have been commissioned to create an interactive 3D tour of the unit similar to the tours recently created for NHS RCHT Treliske and West Cornwall hospitals.
Ocean 3D is the only 3D VR company to hold the National Autistic Society’s ‘Autism Friendly’ award and have recently received international recognition within the Aerospace industry with their use of existing tech to make travel more accessible for people with physical and hidden conditions/ injuries.
