The 3D tour of our grounds and premises created by Ocean 3D has been of great benefit to our organisation in several ways. Bosence Drug & Alcohol treatment are a registered charity providing treatment to individuals referred to our services from local authorities nationally. We work with some of the most vulnerable individuals in society, who in a high proportion of cases are in crisis at the point at which they seek to access treatment with us.

Due to the significant travel distance to Bosence; coupled with our geographical location being somewhat isolated from the rest of the country, it is rarely possible or even feasible for individuals to visit before beginning treatment. The 3D tour enables our clients to explore both our premises and grounds in detail, to obtain a tangible sense of the environment which otherwise wouldn’t be possible without visiting in person. Those accessing treatment often have questions which are specific to the physical environment – “What are the rooms like?”, “Where does group work/activities take place”, “Are there areas where I can relax?” being just a few examples.

The ability to navigate around our grounds and premises means that clients who choose to access treatment with our services have an enhanced preparation for treatment experience. Clients can then make an informed choice on this basis, ensuring we are the most suitable provider to meet their needs. The recent edition of staff video clips has further strengthened the offering, with many of our clients commenting that they’ve been able to get a real sense of familiarity before beginning treatment that would otherwise not have been possible; this in turn significantly reduces the likelihood of an early departure associated with treatment not being what was expected. The 3D tour is referenced and recommended by staff across the organisation, particularly our admissions team who act as the first point of contact for many initial enquires by both phone, email or the ‘message us’ function of our website.
